Star Mountain Amphitheater in Sharon, VT

Flock Dance Troupe performs WOMAN which follows the journey and development of an activist. This dance/theater work holds a series of vignettes showing the stages and influences along a woman’s life’s path.

The Amphitheater setting carries its own magic and welcomes pre-show picnicking. Families and the hearing impaired are particularly invited. Audience members are encouraged to bring a stick or twig for an unusual participatory ending.

FLOCK seeks to move its audiences toward a new recognition of our place as human beings in the natural order of life on earth. Artistic Director Carol Langstaff's work with FLOCK translates and transforms tensions and difficulties through humor, visual beauty, stunning music, and graceful, ecstatic ensemble dance.

FLOCK inspires people through evocative yet accessible dance and enhances our understanding of gesture and body language.
